Volunteer Opportunities
Ever considered getting involved with your child’s school? Now is the time!
Volunteering with the PTO is a fun and rewarding way to get involved! Work as part of a dedicated team of parents and school officials, who care about creating the best possible educational experience for our children. There are lots of rewards, both big and small, for those who get involved. Volunteering is a great way to get familiar with the school, to help out where needed, and to meet other parents. If you would like to volunteer, please email [email protected].
Please note: all volunteers MUST be CORI and Fingerprinting on file to be approved through Waltham Public Schools. The CORIs must be updated every 3 years. If you have any questions, please see the secretary in the office.
ATTN: POTENTIAL SPIRIT DAY VOLUNTEERS!
If you haven't already completed the process, here is a step-by-step guide:
1) An up-to-date CORI form. You will need to show your license. (Can be completed in the school office with Ms. Conneely between 10am-2pm, Monday-Friday)
FINGERPRINTING:
1. Go to http://www.identogo.com/FP/Massachusetts.aspx
2. Select "Online Scheduling". You will be required to provide Waltham Public Schools ESE Organization Code: 03080000.
3. That will allow you to make a reservation to get the fingerprints done. Keep the receipt.
4. Bring a copy of the receipt to Ms. Conneely.

Year Round Volunteering Opportunities
Copies!Teachers need help making copies. Use the Plympton Staff list to email teachers. Set up time when you can pick up papers that need to be copied.

Plympton ReadsDates TBD- Setup and help kids select a free book that is just right for them. Plympton Reads runs at multiple times during the school year. Email if you are interested in helping with the book distribution: [email protected]

LibraryHelp out during class library time. Shelve books or check them in and out. Email the librarian or stop by for more information
