In case you have not heard, tomorrow (Friday, December 16) will be very cold. We expect temperatures in the morning to feel like –15 degrees and gusts of winds that will whip up to 40-50 mph. At this time, we anticipate that we will have a regularly scheduled school day and don't anticipate a delay or a school cancelation. However, please do keep an eye out for communication from us later this evening in case events change. We would like to recommend the following: ensure your child has on attire for the winter weather (I.e. hat, gloves, winter jackets and multiple layers). In addition, ensure your child is not outside in the cold for prolonged periods of time. This might mean waiting in a car by the bus stop, driving your child to school, or finding alternative transportation modes with friends or relatives to school. Our elementary schools will open as early as 7:30 a.m. in case parents/guardians need to drop off their children before their commute to work. Please contact the main office with any questions or concerns.
