ELECTION DAY BAKE SALEThe Election Day Bake Sale is a long standing Plympton School PTO tradition. Proceeds from the bake sale go towards the PTO's annual scholarship fund which provides a $1500 scholarship to a Waltham High School senior who attended Plympton School. This is possible because of the generosity of our families. Even if you took advantage of early voting, please stop by for breakfast, lunch or to grab a treat or buy a raffle ticket!
It's looking like it will be a gorgeous day out so bring the kids and let them play at the awesome new Drake playground. There will be an activity table inside to keep an eye on the littler ones courtesy of Champions. Food donations can be dropped off in the Guidance Suite across from the office beginning on Monday. Jen Renaud will be at the Bake Sale all day on Tuesday to accept food donations as well. All baked goods can be homemade or store bought. We are also in need of other food/beverage items for donation. Have a specialty? We'd love to share it with our community! please be sure to indicate if they contain nuts. Sign up here http://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0c45a4ad2ba0fd0-election3 to either donate a baked good or help staff the annual Election Day Bake Sale on Tuesday, November 8th from 7am to 7pm. Items can be dropped off at the school on Mondayafternoon/evening or Tuesday during the bake sale. If possible, it really is helpful to individually wrap your items and This is a NO SCHOOL day for the kids but this is a day long event (7am-7pm) and we need all the help we can get to help sell baked goods and raffles-even if just for an hour. We sell breakfast and lunch items. Click here for the Bake Sale Fliers in English and Spanish . Squats are great for strengthening your Legs (hamstrings, quads and gluts). They also help stabilize your core muscles and develop a good sense of balance. BOKS BIT - Here are some tips for shopping in the grocery store. Try shopping around the perimeter of the store first!! This is where you will find many of the healthiest foods - Fresh Fruits, Veggies, Proteins (meat, fish, eggs, dairy) and whole wheat bread. When you have to shop in the middle aisles of the store, look at the labels!! Look for foods with a short list of ingredients and try to buy foods with ingredients that you have heard of and can pronounce. BOKS RocksSEE'S CANDY FUNDRAISER See’s Candies Fundraiser We are excited to begin our first ever See’s Candies fundraiser! Proceeds go directly to the Plympton Elementary School.
